Review by hotel critic
During my recent gourmet getaway at Eccles Townhouse in Dublin, I was pleasantly surprised by the culinary innovation and vibrant ambiance that the hotel's restaurant offered. The recently renovated Eccles Townhouse, originally designed for accommodation over a Café Bar, perfectly combines traditional charm with modern flair. One evening, I decided to indulge in a meal at the hotel's restaurant, drawn in by the promise of Guinness on tap and craft beer alongside delectable pizza and paninis. The menu at the Cafe Bar reflected a fusion of local flavors, from Benny's Chicken just a stone's throw away to the fine fresh dishes at 3f Bistro. I opted for a savory panini paired with a craft beer, savoring each bite while overlooking the bustling street below. The convenient proximity to various dining options like Violets Restaurant and Wasabi Restaurant Sushi Bar allowed for culinary exploration beyond the hotel's offerings. The breakfast included in the stay was a delightful start to each day, setting the tone for my culinary adventures in Dublin. In conclusion, Eccles Townhouse provides a cozy retreat for food enthusiasts seeking a mix of traditional Irish fare and contemporary dining experiences. With its rich culinary offerings and prime location amidst a diverse dining scene, this establishment caters to a wide array of palates, making it a noteworthy choice for travelers looking to indulge in the flavors of Dublin.
